It is almost impossible to expect a specific spirit to be commanded to communicate with you via a medium. You should be prepared to expect just about anyone you knew to come through. A common misconception of mediumship is that mediums raise the dead. The reality is that the medium is purely a conduit through which communication is made.

During a private reading you can expect to be given information which is accurate and even if you cannot verify this information during the reading, it is most likely that you will be able to confirm the information afterwards. Evidence of survival may come in many forms, but some consideration for your ability to accept it, is commonplace.

Evidential messages are what you should be given, and not a series of general statements that could apply to anyone. A good medium will be able to provide specific information to you, but they may not be able to give you a huge amount of detail. They can only give to you what they are getting.
