What is a Clairvoyant Medium?

A clairvoyant medium is sensitive enough to pick up on things that perhaps the majority of people would not perceive. Not only would they have a natural aptitude for mediumship, but they would also have been trained to sharpen their gift in order to make a good connection with Spirit.

The word "medium" refers to the conveyance of messages through a medium. In this case it is via a person.

Clairvoyant means "clear seeing" which refers to the ability of seeing images in your mind, which have been conveyed from Spirit. There are also other means of picking up information, including clairaudience, clairsentience and clairgustance.

Spiritualist mediums are clairvoyants who have a belief in Spiritualism and tend to practice mediumship on platform in public and also do private sittings. They may be members of a Spiritualist organisation, such as the SNU or Greater World.

A good clairvoyant medium will be able to link with the Spirit World and interpret the messages in such a way that the person receiving the message will understand. It is not a precise method of communication, but an experienced medium will be able to extract more specific information, and therefore produce a more evidential private reading.
